Personal Hygiene

There is this really nice little article in our employee newsletter about the fundraiser our program does for a food bank each December. They included a little photo, in which I am background noise.

Regardless of how it looks, I want to go on the record and say I was not, I repeat, not, picking my nose. I was simply stressed about whether or not to place a silent bid and chewing on my fingernail.

Another article in the newsletter started with the following caption:

Faces of Influenza

I'm thinking, well, there will be sniffling, runny-nose, stuffy-headed, sleep-deprived folks of a variety of ethnic backgrounds clutching kleenex boxes and standing in their pj's and fuzzy socks.

Instead:

They don't look so sick to me.
