Volleyball and Sand Castles

Most of you Seattle friends probably already know about this, but thanks to West Seattle Blog linking to my blog, some of you may be reading this whom I haven't met yet... and I wanted to make sure to invite you new friends as well.

This Saturday, the 28th, whoever is interested is invited to meet up at Alki Bakery at 10am - then we'll wander over to Alki beach and try to find a volleyball net. If it's raining, I imagine that won't be so hard. If it's sunny, we'll do our best. None of us has played volleyball since, like age 12... the toddlers withstanding... although several of us are fervent, slightly obsessive UW volleyball fans (T-minus 30 days and counting to the first home game!!!!!!!!!!!)

Also, just a slight issue - currently we do not have a volleyball... so we may be pretending. Invisible volleyball - at least it doesn't hurt your arms.

If you're not into attempting to play volleyball, there will be a large sand castle making contingent.

Just bring some kind of food to share and a willingness to be silly for a few hours.

Sounds great, Bex! Graham and I will be there. We won't have bells on, but we'll be excited just the same. :)
