My first post-college, finally-paid-off-my-student-loans acquired furniture arrived this morning!!!!! I want to hug it and hold it and squeeze it real tight! (Tiny Toons, circa 1993) Seriously, I just want stay home and sink into the fluffiness of the couch and watch bad daytime TV, alternated with sitting in the upright chair with a cup of tea reading some sophisticated novel. But alas, they delivered it so early I have to go to work. Where the chair is not so fluffy and kinda hurts my back.

Damn. You have got to tell me where you got that gravity-defying chair. Ikea, right?
I have to admit, it's a little creepy. I keep setting it back upright, only to find it lying on its side when I come back into the room. If Carol Ann shows up, I don't know what to do. Do you go into the light these days, or not?
Depends. What's your apartment's relative location vis a vis old cemeteries, Indian burial grounds, etc.?
I've been looking into this, especially given I can't seem to sit on my new chair without falling to the ground. The bruising is really getting bad.
As far as I know, there was never a cemetary on the site - but there is a nursing facility behind my building. Folks have to be dying there on a fairly regular basis -
