Tried the cpap last night for the first time, a.k.a. binkie. Egad. Well, according to the machine I went from waking up on average 27 times an hour to only 7 times an hour - I guess that's progress - however it's probably a wash bcs it took a few hours to fall asleep with the "mirage" on and I swear I woke up all night long. But let's talk about that for a moment. Is this what you think of when you think of the word "mirage"?

- noun
1. an optical phenomenon, esp. in the desert or at sea, by which the image of some object appears displaced above, below, or to one side of its true position as a result of spatial variations of the index of refraction of air.
2. something illusory, without substance or reality.
3. Military. any of a series of supersonic, delta-wing, multirole French fighter-bombers.
I guess I could go with supersonic, delta-wing, multirole fighter-bomber.
I finished my latest mosaic. It looked better in person. I call it "interconnectedness of all life," or something like that.
I then started a new one that graphically looked all cool, hip, modern, and art deco - black design, clear glass in between, with white grout (to match the intended recipients' home decor), but in reality looks like a Sunday School art project complete with a towering cross. Of course, the intended recipient is rather cynical about religion. Perhaps he can turn it on its side. Or only bring it out when I come over to visit.
