First, meet Eanes Elementary School (1st-2nd grades). Home of the Mustangs.

My 2nd grade teacher, Mrs. Reed's old Room. I ADORED this woman and she told me all sorts of stories about why it was good to be short. For instance, you can hide in tall grass during hide and seek. Made total sense at the time.

On to Cedar Creek Elementary (3-5th grades). Home of the Eagles.

In case you have never seen Texas soil in the summer time, this is a photo of the ground just outside of the Cedar Creek playground.

And onto pre-adolescent angst... Hill Country Middle School (6-8th grades). Home of the Cougars. Note the flag at half staff for Lady Bird Johnson.

Full on Adolescent Angst - W-W-E-S-T-L-L-A-K-E, Westlake, Fight!
Westlake High School (9-12th grades). Home of the Chaparrals.
This is just the entry. It's also a lot different than when I was there. It's basically it's own little college - it's huge. I got so overwhelmed trying to figure out how to fit it all in a photo, I became incapacitated and this is all I managed.

And a bonafide TX high school football stadium. Sorry, I don't know how to rotate photos in blogger yet.

And of course, the Granddaddy Public School of them All, UT.

For most of my time at UT's School of Social Work, it was in an old apartment complex. The swimming pool was filled in - in the photo after this one you can see the tree that has grown in it.
